Canberra tourists part 2

With our list of things to do in Canberra gradually being ticked off , days were passing before the long drive to Adelaide approached

First port of call was the Australian war memorial
Part memorial
A beautiful structure
Looking down Anzac parade to the Parliament
Quite moving
With plenty of poppies
And part museum
Which we sadly had to whizz round
Bit of Aboriginal art chucked in too
Back to dog walking
Luna and I climbed the Cooleman Ridge
Plenty of sun and wide views just behind M&H ‘s house
Luna on the lookout for water
Aussie way marker
Luna knows where she is going
Then our for breezy fish and chips at the yacht club
The lovely ladies
Next touristy bit is the bridge to bridge walk in central Canberra
And who did we meet , blow me , the “ Angel of the North “
Whatever a Maquette is
Poor old Matt was given a clay pigeon shooting experience for his Christmas
A beautiful night for a shoot
The result will never be published ( in order not to embarrass the Australian military) , but Matt would have had more chance with a Howitzer
Last dog walk with Luna
Then up Mount Ainslie

For the best views of Canberra

To end a great visit with best friends
